Attorney Andrew G. Jones
Andrew G. Jones founded the Law Office of Andrew G. Jones after spending six years as a founding partner of Gibbons Jones, P.C. Andrew graduated from the Indiana University School of Law in 2001 and has worked to protect the rights of Indiana workers ever since. Andrew has successfully handled hundreds of employment law cases in both state and federal courts. He has substantial jury trial experience, as well as appellate court experience in a variety of employment law matters. Andrew regularly handles cases involving the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and other federal and state statutes that address unpaid wages, discrimination, retaliation, and harassment.
Andrew’s primary focus is on claims involving the FMLA. He has successfully represented employees subjected to retaliation for taking FMLA leave, as well as employees whose employers have interfered with their ability to utilize the FMLA. Andrew is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Section of Labor and Employment Law and was a contributing author of the ABA’s 2013 Cumulative Supplement on The Family and Medical Leave Act.
Andrew also handles cases involving unpaid wages and wage theft under both the FLSA and Indiana state law. Andrew has litigated cases involving as few as one employee and as many as thousands of employees throughout the country. Regardless of the amount of wages owed, Andrew will work hard to get his clients the wages they earned.
Andrew is licensed to practice throughout Indiana as well as the following federal courts: Southern District of Indiana, Northern District of Indiana, Central District of Illinois, and Western District of Michigan.
